Sippin' on Christmas

Updated: Dec 4, 2022

I came up with a yummy, easy, QUICK sipper yesterday, and thought I'd share it with y'all! I don't know about y'all, but I've been on the struggle bus to get in enough liquids in the day. It's easy for me to get them all in in the spring and summer when it's warm (or you know, standing on hell's doorstep here in Texas!!!)

Dave, my husband, does not usually like my sippers--"too much ACV," he usually says. BUT I went a little lighter on the ACV last night because I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. I asked him to taste it as I thought it was yummier than usual. His comment? "Tastes like Christmas!" I asked if he'd drink more of it and he said yes, he'd have that again! It kind of reminds me of a non-alcoholic mulled wine which we enjoyed during the holiday season when we lived in the UK.

Now, on to the good stuff! Here's what you need to recreate this at your home this holiday season.

SIPPIN' ON CHRISTMAS SIPPER

Ingredients:

4 bags of Celestial Seasons Caramel Apple Dream tea (available here) or Cinnamon Apple Spice (available here) for a more cinnamon-y experience

2 cups of just boiled water

2 doonks of THM Pure Stevia

2-3 tsp of ACV

Directions:

Steep 4 tea bags in 2 cups of water--I left them for several hours so it was REALLY strong.

To create the sipper, pour 1/3-1/2 of that strongly brewed tea into a 30-32oz container (I use my big insulated cup)

Add your two doonks of Pure Stevia (could do three if you're a real sweet tooth!) and 2-3tsp of ACV. Stir well.

Top off with water and add in a few ice cubes if you'd like.

Varations:

1. Fun option could be to do two bags of each kind of tea. I haven't tried that yet, but I think that would be outta this world yummo!

2. This would also be amazing warmed up for these cold winter months ahead! And it would stay lovely and warm in your insulated cups.
